"In Affectionate Memory of Basil Terah Hooley, M.C., Major. 7th Sherwood Foresters and Tank Corps, Died while on leave from the front October 28 1918, Aged 26 years. Loyal to his God, his King, and his Country."

1911 Census:
Basil Terah Hooley was an 18 year old engineer, residing in Risley. He was the son of Sarah Hooley.
